Only one week left in California... and only one sleep until we see Tony again! This Monday morning started early with a prayer meeting with the "aunties" who have been meeting for over 20 years! What a legacy... what a privilege... what faithful women!
Peggy and her friend Wendy... What a blast to hang a bit with these two...
We didn't have a car for the day, so we hung out with Matt for a couple of hours. It's been a great time hanging out with Matt and the boys (too bad Tori and Madie have been away) - besides the fun for the kids - it's been really good for Matt and I to spend this time with each other.
I'm sure we spent some more time at the pool and did some other bits of shopping, etc... but in the evening Grandma was on duty so that the siblings could take dad out for dinner. We finally decided on Chinese food and found ourselves at a little place in Costa Mesa. After swapping out half of the set dishes, we settled into one of the dinner meals - the one made for 6 people... needless to say, the four of us were able to take some of the food home for subsequent meals.
We had a lot of laughs sharing memories and stories...
