L is for LEGOLAND

I really am not sure what to say about this - other than LEGOLAND ROCKS!!! We decided Legoland this year because of our Lego Maniac son... so Amber organised for a whole bunch of us to get discounted tickets and take the day off work and hang out for what became easily the highlight of the week that Tony was with us...

Janel lives literally around the corner so they have an annual pass and do this ALL the time. Look at her... she knows what she's doing and her precious girls were so excited to share their playground with their cousins....
Aunt Diane brought Miette down to pick up Joshua from the Carlsbad airport... how convenient!!!!
Helena convinced Grandma to go on a ride with her...
they had so much fun... I think Helena did this ride at least two more times!!!

Hunter's first roller coaster experience was a bit hairy... but by the end of the day he did this one again and another few coasters a few times each!!! Look out Magic Mountain... next time!!!

Oh yes... Hannah, Helena and Esther are all about the same age and these three had a blast!!!

"The Joust" was the first ride they went on all by themselves... oh what fun!!!

The boats were the second... though I was a bit unsure how safe it was, Hunter handled his boat brilliantly and Helena stayed seated... good thing we were in the boat behind them!

The Clarks are NOT competitive people... no not us! Not at all!
HA! This ride had four push-handle cars that each 'team' had to race across to the otherside then pump the water and get back in the car and head to the other side. We thought it was a race so as soon as we finished putting out our fire (top photo), we jumped back into the car and started pushing as fast as we could... so fast that we made it to the other side without hearing the attendant tell us that we in fact needed to wait back at the other side for everyone to get into their cars before returning. Oops!!! He pulled us back and we got another go... poor ole Uncle Jason was doing it himself... at least Tony had Hunter's help!

The kids LOVED this one - they got to drive all by themselves and even got a license at the end of it!!!

Helena LOVED the 'Dragon'... we had to do it about three times in a row as our last ride of the night!!!

Yes... it was a GREAT day at Legoland!!!!

 A really great day!!!

Now check out some of the cool Lego stuff!!! I'm not even going to bother putting in the animals from the Safari Ride... but you can just imagine!!!
