Early December Fun in Wellington!!!

Here's a glimpse at some fun we've had lately...

It was a Teddy Bear's Picnic after church on a stunningly sunny Sunday on 1 December. Helena brought Glitter along and she was so excited to see her teddy was almost as big as baby Bethany Milne who was just one week old!!!
And impressively Greg & Shanan made it through most of the picnic with baby Bethany - big outing for the little one!

Dad has been hanging out with us at different times throughout the past month - which has been fun for the whole family. But on 3 December - Dad hit the ferry down to Christchurch... and said good-bye for now. We'll look forward to seeing you guys again in the new year!

Helena and I had a little fun at Pak N Save doing our fortnightly shopping excursion...

Hunter's school sponsored a Carwash, Cake and Coffee fundraiser on Saturday 12 December. The senior students did the washing, the younger kids did the promotion and the parents did the eating and coffee drinking on the sidelines...
It's been great being part of this school community since July! Helena has actually had her four school visits over the past couple of weeks in December so she's all set to start on day one of term one 2014!!! We're really pleased with the school and the teachers and community so it's been a great introduction to 'school life'.

And on Wednesday 18 December Hunter went to his first "Prize-Giving" - and received his certificate of accomplishment and patiently waited for everyone else to receive their awards. Gosh - the first of many nights like this - what a precious entrustment! He said he wanted to get some other awards in the future - you can do it, Hunter! You can work hard and put your heart into what you want to do to see it accomplished! We are proud of you.
