Fairy Princess Dance Debut

Alright, so this prima ballerina has been in ballet class for one term. I think it was about 6-7 weeks. Not long. But long enough. Long enough to like it enough to sign up again. The teacher obviously has been working with other groups of dancers much longer. Long enough to put on an end of year performance this week. Thus, Helena's dance debut.

The preschool class she was in were fairy princesses. You should've seen these fairies buzzing the week prior to the performance when they got their costumes! Helena's smile - ear to ear "I'm so exciting mom"!!! And who wouldn't be excited to wear so much pink!!!

The show started at 5:30pm and was to last just thirty minutes. Here she is waiting - pre-show.
 Pre-show jitters? Or just enthusiasm?

Now it's their turn. Thankfully they were about the third act. But notice, the thumb! The thumb stayed in the mouth most of the performance. That is until it was time to twirl (opposite direction to everyone else).
I'm not sure if the thumb was in the mouth here... she's doing her floating butterflies facing the wrong way.
And when she did turn around... well, no thumb but licking her costume. Ha! Well, the rest of the dancers through the course of the evening did a splendid job as well and both kids were doing the pirate dance through the parking lot! Maybe she needs another term.
But really, she did look so gorgeous! And this face is worth it!
