Once again our term 2 & 3 were spent playing... SOCCER!!! The kids love being on these teams with the Miramar Rangers. Helena and the Zephyrs were grade 8 which meant they conveniently still played at the Miramar Park (with the occasional trip to Island Bay) on Saturdays, while Hunter and the Grade 9 Karakas ended up playing anywhere from Broadway to Newlands! Practices on Tuesday and Wednesday nights meant we stayed warm and active throughout the winter months! Well done teams!

"Go Hunter, go!" Olivia Barber turned up at his game one Saturday when the game happened to be right outside their home in Newlands! YAY for cheerleaders across town!
Hunter enjoyed Grade 9 because he finally got to play the goal-keep position a few times... plus he got to play against a few friends from other areas.
And of course no end of season would be complete without the lolly scramble with some friends!
